How these topic tags work
Tags group the calculators and guides by what you are trying to do rather than by their exact name, so the same tool can appear under more than one theme — a copper calculator is relevant to both plumbing water systems and materials, for instance. Each tag opens an archive page that gathers every page on that theme in one place, with a short explanation of why the topic matters and where the pages fit together. If you are not sure which single calculator you need, browsing a tag is often faster than the full sitemap: it narrows the site to the handful of tools that serve one kind of job.

A structure built to grow
New calculators and guides are slotted into the existing tags as they are added, so a page never launches orphaned — it appears under every theme it belongs to and links back into the network from day one. That is deliberate: it keeps related tools discoverable, spreads internal link value evenly, and means you can return to a tag later and find it has quietly gained the newest tools on that theme without any change to how you browse.
If a topic you expect is not yet a tag, the tools it would gather are usually still being written; the sitemap always lists everything that currently exists, tagged or not.
Each tag page also links across to the others, so you can move sideways between related themes — from a material to the water or oil-and-gas systems that use it — without returning to this hub each time. This lateral linking is deliberate, and it is what turns a flat list of tools into a browsable, connected reference.
Tags or the full sitemap?
Use the tags when you know the kind of job — water systems, oil and gas, a particular material, or the underlying formulas. Use the sitemap when you already know the exact page you want and just need the quickest link to it. Both routes reach every calculator; they simply suit different starting points.
